I contacted Kadin Guzman as a referral from a neighbor to install new outdoor light fixtures. I am very satisfied with the work. Kadin was punctual as well as knowledgeable and courteous. He was very helpful . He was even nice enough to replace an outdoor outlet at no charge which was unrelated to the installation for which I had hired him. I will definitely contact In Charge Home Electric for any future electrical work.

A nice experience of EV charger installation. Very prompt communication and follow up, and a reasonable quote (much better than Hyundai Home Market place). On installation day the two techs did a fine job explaining what would be going on, and were punctual. I appreciated that they did a good job of cleaning up after their work in the garage. The charger works well, so thank you! Would definitely recommend to others!

Did a great job installing a new circuit panel in our house. Worked with getting permitting and always the power company to turn off / on power to the house. Even bonus, because they reached out to PSE to arrange power, PSE noticed that the lines coming to our house needed to be updated and they installed a ground line, seal with new concrete, and a new locked access lid.

FAQ

Questions We Get A Lot

Residential electrical work of every size. The jobs we get called for most are panel and service upgrades, EV charger installation, remodels, lighting installation, troubleshooting, and generator installs, but we also routinely handle smaller jobs like chandeliers, ceiling fans, hot tubs, new outlets and more. Not quite sure if your project needs a licensed electrician? Give us a call anyways and we are always happy to help.

For many jobs, yes. A few questions and maybe a picture or two is often all we need to give you an exact quote over the phone. For bigger or more complex work, we offer free in-person estimates with no obligation. Either way, every quote always comes from a licensed electrician there to help answer all of your questions every step of the way.

Yes, and most of the bigger jobs need one: panel and service upgrades, new circuits, rewiring, and anything that changes your service entrance. We pull the permit, do the work to NEC code and your city's amendments, and meet the inspector ourselves so you don't have to take a day off for it. The permit cost is in the estimate you approve, not a line item that turns up on the final invoice.

Call us and we'll come back out. Our workmanship is covered by an included warranty at no extra cost, and equipment we install (panels, chargers, generators, fixtures) carries its manufacturer warranty on top of that. If the fix is on us, there's no second invoice.

Often. A lot of the housing stock around Seattle predates modern electrical demand. Knob-and-tube has no ground wire, and many insurers will surcharge a home that still has it or decline to cover it at all. Federal Pacific Stab-Lok panels have a documented history of breakers that fail to trip under load. We replace both, along with fuse boxes and undersized 100A services, and we can usually stage a rewire room by room so you're not without power in the whole house.

No, we're residential only: houses, condos, townhomes, and the detached garages and shops that go with them. If you're not sure which yours is, give us a call and we'll get you sorted.
